Security Systems Engineer
JOB Description
The ideal candidate will provide Pre-Sales technical support within a specific geographic territory working in conjunction with sales account representatives. Pre-sales activities involve technical support in sales presentations and product demonstrations, as well as technical account management from initial contact to sale closing.
The candidate will be responsible for explaining, demonstrating, and installing all aspects of the Company product suite, provide technical account management in support of product evaluations of Company products, and participate in technical seminars, trade shows and, presentations as a technical expert for the Company suite of products. The candidate will work in coordination with the sales account manager in responding to RFP/RFI/RFQs from potential prospects. Availability for domestic and international travels.

Can work with the sales team to identify and understand the critical business influencers within an account. Clear understanding of the sales process and value add to that process. Minimal supervision required with respect to providing solutions and ROI analysis.

• 5 years industry experience/3-5 years vendor SE experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills required.
• Native in Portuguese Spanish and fluency in English as second
language.
• At least 3 years experience in the following technical areas:
• UNIX or enterprise-level Windows200x systems administration or
consulting experience.
• Technical experience with Antivirus, AntiSpam, Firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS,
Vulnerability Assessment, IT Compliance and Security Software
Management best practices.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows NT/2003 and related applications.
• At least a four (4) year professional degree in a related field
(Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent experience.
Desired Skills
The desired candidate for this position will have field experience either working as a Reseller SE, Software Vendor SE or a consultant. Hardware deployment and project management experience a plus. Microsoft, IBM, SUN, CheckPoint, ISS, CISCO, CISSP, SANS or PMP Certifications are a plus.
